Explore

(Some stories are personal enough, that it’s better to simply let the artist do their own thing.)
Have you ever wanted to explore… for no reason at all?
I do all the time.
Just the thought of it… Not knowing what’s ahead…
the only familiar things being;
the feel of the breeze,
light, clouds,
the curiosity in your head.
Have you ever wanted to find new places?
Meet new faces?
Leave your comfort zone?
Have you ever wanted the joy of feeling all alone?
Maybe it’s not even the destination, so much,
as it is the thought of motion.
The searching can be the fun part.
What a fantastic notion!
Have you ever wanted to explore?
Oh, the things there are to see!
Just roam, with wonder,
waiting for the place that feels right,
to plant a young tree.
If you ever went exploring,
I’d hope your yearning found,
the joy it was craving,
roaming across the ground.
Have you ever wanted to explore, just using your head?
It’s easy.
Study hard, about the stars,
then imagine them from your bed!
Have you ever wanted to explore the past.
Get lost in it,
be free?
Read more books with a curious mind,
then come roaming history,
with me.
Have you ever wanted to explore?
Oh, there are so many ways!
Just watch a puppy, a baby, a young bird,
as they discover the world.
I could do that for days.
The End.
